GolfNext ApS (“we”, “us”) operates build.golfnext.com. This page explains what data we process when you visit, why, and the rights you have.

We are the data controller for personal data processed through this site.

What we collect

Server and CDN logs. Like any website, our host (Cloudflare) records technical data on each request: your IP address, browser/user-agent, the page requested, and a timestamp. We use this to run the site securely and diagnose problems. These edge logs are retained according to Cloudflare’s standard retention periods.

Aggregate analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics — a privacy-friendly, cookieless service. It gives us anonymous, aggregate figures (page views, referrers, country, device type) with no cookies, no cross-site tracking, and no profiling of individuals.

Theme preference. Your light/dark choice is stored locally in your browser (localStorage). It never leaves your device and is not sent to us.

We do not use advertising trackers, set tracking cookies, or sell data.

We rely on our legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) in running a secure website and understanding aggregate usage. Because we use no tracking cookies or non-essential storage, no consent banner is required.

Processors and third parties

  • Cloudflare — hosts and serves the site (Cloudflare Pages), provides the CDN and security layer, keeps technical edge logs, and provides cookieless web analytics.

These act as our processors. Outbound links in articles lead to third-party sites with their own policies, which we are not responsible for.

Your rights

Because we keep little to no data that can identify you, in most cases there will be nothing for us to retrieve, correct, or delete. If you nonetheless believe we hold personal data about you, you can ask us to access, correct, or erase it, or to restrict or object to its processing — just contact hello@golfnext.com. You can also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet, datatilsynet.dk).
